4th Grade Science

We worked on some worksheets from the Activity Book today.  They got to read Chapter 8 while doing these sheets.

Thanks,
Mrs. W

5th grade Science

Homework is CC 8.4.  On Wednesday there will be a quiz over sections 8.2 - 8.4.

Most of the students have done exceptionally well on the Science Fair project.  If you are interested in having your child complete most if not all of the project for next year, please sign them up for the Science Fair Summer Camp which I facilitate.  Space is limited to the first ten students.  We will meet once a week for three hours for three weeks, then take a two week break, followed by three more sessions.  Please call the office (847-385-2012 or 2019) for dates and cost.  Students from past years have benefited greatly from having their project mostly done by the time school started.

Thanks,
Mrs. W

4th Grade Science

The students took their last science test today!  They have a worksheet to finish which some of them did already.  Other than that, there is no homework.

Thanks,
Mrs. W

5th grade science fair, 5th grade science

On Monday we will grade Comp Checks 8.2 and 8.3.

Many students have turned in their science fair papers and their boards. There are still some students who have turned in one but not the other, and some have turned in neither.  Please check with your student since the paper is worth two test grades and the board is a quiz grade.

Thanks for your help in this.

7th grade math

It has been a pleasure teaching your children this year.  No, Really!!There have been ups and downs but, all in all, I think many came to a better understanding of some crucial concepts.

Homework for the weekend is L. 101, #4, 7, 1, 12, 13, 18, 20, 22, 27, 28, and 30.

I will teach one more lesson next week, then they will have two tests, one on Tuesday over lessons 91, 93, 95, 96 and some previous lessons.  On Wednesday, the test will cover lessons 99, 100, 101 and some previous concepts.

Thanks for all your help,
Mrs. W
