5th grade science fair, 5th grade science

There is a quiz tomorrow over section 8.1.

Only a few people brought in their SF boards with the sections printed off so they could lay them on the board for me.  These boards are due Friday.  I know there is a 5th grade picnic that day.  Mrs. Beal said she will allow time for them to bring their completed boards to my room before they leave.

Very interesting weekend, wasn't it?  Torrential rains followed by record heat.  Well, we do live in the Midwest!
I gave the students two worksheets that are about Order of Operations.

4th Grade Science

We took the quiz today and most kids did extremely well.  On Tuesday are Sections A, B, and C for the Chapter 7 Check Up.  The remaining sections will be due on Wednesday and the test for Chapter 7 will be on Thursday.

We worked on L. 100 today and the homework is the Practice Set and #17-24 and 28-30.

4th Grade Science

The students need to do Comp Check 7.6.  We will grade that in class tomorrow, do a review and have a quiz on sections 7.5 and 7.6.  The test for Chapter 7 will come next week.  Students may want to work ahead on the Chapter Check Up.
